A) Yes it is true 3D not 2.5D. It can also read Cimatron files as well as iges and STL

A) Of course, with a short term contract you can have the software without the inital outlay, then some time in the future, you can convert it to a purchase. This is the same for all our softwares

Q Do i need a super PC to run Cimatron or WorkNC
A) No not at all, minimum Windows XP and good Nvidia graphics card

Q Does WorkNC machine triangles or surfaces
A) WorknC machines true nurbs surfaces, giving a better finish and more control over customers data, but we can also work with STL files

Q I have a multi stage impression tool that has some really complex surface geometry, will Cimatron work with this
A) Yes, Cimatron is a hybrid modeller and can work with both suface, and solid models

Q What is the difference between posititional 5 axis and Continuous 5 axis 
A) Good question, you have probably seen other software advertised as having positional 5 axis. WorkNC calls this 3 2, and you get this with a 3 axis system at no extra cost. The WorkNC 5 axis has the head and table of the machine moving at the same time with mimimum complications, yet still checking for collisions.
